Office of Public Information Officer

The Public Information Officer (PIO) develops and manages the community relations program for the City. This includes actively seeking citizen involvement before, during and after the development and implementation of City programs, services and events through a variety of communication vehicles.

Additionally, the PIO serves as the City’s liaison to the media, assisting them in obtaining information and interviews and serving as City spokesperson as directed. The PIO also communicates relevant City information to employees on a regular basis and serves as a point of contact for citizen inquiries.
